Villa Wolff featured in yearbook NL25
April 2026
Villa Wolff is featured in the NL25 architecture yearbook, published by Maas Lawrence. The book provides an overview of architectural projects completed in the Netherlands in 2025, varying in scale, typology and region.
With 368 m², Villa Wolff takes its place amongst the 1.5 million m² of completed projects featured in this book. A conscious decision was made to opt for transformation rather than new-build: a careful renovation of a 1950s bungalow.
The challenge was to weigh up renovation against demolition and new-build. An inventory of the existing structure revealed strong foundations and load-bearing walls that were worth preserving.
Every space is orientated toward the garden and surrounding forest, large windows frame views from treetop to forest floor, ensuring the residents experience seasonal changes even while working from home.
NL25 serves both as a reference book and a snapshot: a visual archive of Dutch architecture in a single year.
